1980 Yamaha SA700 335 in Cherry

This Yamaha SA700 from 1980 is another fine example of the "Golden Era" prowess of Japan's guitar factories, in this case turning out a brilliant copy of Gibson's ES-335. With Gibson's standard 1-11/16ths inch nut width and a beefy neck profile, this guitar gives the 335 enthusiast who prefers a guitar with some meat on its bones a great way to go. After owning several Gibson Custom Shop 335's over the years, we think this Yamaha "Super Axe" is easily the equal of any of them.

For a guitar over 30 years old, it's in exceptional original condition with no visible fret wear and hardware as shiny as if it had just left the factory. It weighs 9 lbs 9 oz (4.3 kg) and comes with a brown leatherette gig bag.
